Java Technical Team Lead

You will be manging the team and helping to develop the team’s structure and delivery capabilities in their main digital team. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely the Technical leads to design and deliver high quality technical solutions and being accountable for overall output of their team.
• Be the point of contact for the Technical Lead & Principal Developers
• Responsible for providing development sizing estimates which are focused towards the development and delivery upon technical KPI’s.
• Managing onshore and offshore development teams as well as the team onsite in the Dublin office
• Work with QA Automation teams and help resource for the team.

Experienced Required:

• 10 years’ experience with Java Technologies, and pervious experience working as a Java Team Lead on large scale projects.
• Must have experience with REST Services, RESTful Web Services and Spring Frameworks
• Experience with, Application Servers (JBoss/Tomcat) and build / integration (Sonar, Jenkins, Gradle, Git/BitBucket)
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal and experience giving business presentations at executive level.

Essential and Desirable Experience:

• Ability to lead a team of Technical teams and strong people management experience.

Educational Requirements:

• Education to degree level or equivalent
