Job Description

Our multinational client based in Dublin City Centre are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Java/J2EE Developer to join their team on a large scale project. This role operates a hybrid model.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute technical solutions
  • Work alongside technical and non-technical teams to deliver high quality solutions
  • Perform a debugging and testing function where necessary
  • Assist in the development of best practices in accordance with industry standard.

Experience Required

  • 4+ years’ experience in a Java/J2EE development role.
  • Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure)
  • Strong working knowledge of a variety of technologies including:
    • Spring
    • SQL
    • REST
    • HTML
  • Prior exposure to working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Some experience utilising Object Relational Mapping tools such as Hibernate

Educational Requirements

  • 3rd level degree in Computer Science or a related field from a recognised institution
