Job Description

My Financial Services client is recruiting for a Java Developer to join their team in the heart of City Centre.

About this role

The Java Developer will cover all stages work on software development lifecycle from new applications development to system enhancement, maintenance, and support.

Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Work on the development and delivery of various project requirements.
  • Define quality and technical solutions based upon agreed business requirements
  • Prepare and apply software releases between development, test and production environments.

Skills

  • 5 years Java experience using MVC frameworks.
  • Experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • 3-5 year server-side development experience with J2EE.
  • IT qualification preferably to degree level.
  • Experience in a Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team to ensure work is completed in accordance with agreed plans.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and technically minded with a proven ability in troubleshooting and technical problem solving.
