Job Description

Our multinational client based in Dublin is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Java Developer to join their team. This client offers an amazing benefits package and hybrid working model.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and adhere to a high standard of code and best practice
  • Work alongside with the other team members both technical and non-technical
  • Investigate issues and provide solutions
  • Provide system testing support
  • Assist in building new systems & improve stability and security of complex systems.

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Software Developer
  • Proven experience utilizing Java, Spring and Rest API
  • Fluent Written and Verbal Communication abilities
  • Working knowledge of software development life cycles, software design and testing
  • Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS and Azure)
  • Comfortable operating in an Agile environment

Education:

  • 3rd level Degree in Computer Science or similar course from a recognised institution

From the initial discussion about my role through, the vetting, onboarding and right through to the invoicing and payment process the experience with Eolas has been first rate. Luke helped me highlight the items on the CV that the client was looking for and Stephen gave me solid advice about how to invoice in Euros from a UK company. Stephen advised me to open a euro account. Advice which I initially ignored...at my cost...the Royal Bank of Scotland creamed 4.6% of my first invoice!
