Java Developer –  Daily Rate

My well-established Dublin City based client is looking for a Java Developer to join their growing team. Exciting opportunity to join an impressive company on a contract daily rate basis. Excellent daily rate available and the client operates a flexible hybrid model of 2 days on site per week. This will be an initial 6-12 month contract

Experience Required:

• 5 years’ experience in Java Development positions
• Proven understanding of technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Rest API, Oracle, and maven
• A knowledge of front-end technologies would be an advantage: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong knowledge around Agile Methodologies and Practises
• Competent knowledge of Scrum ceremonies.
• Experience around CI/CD development utilising tools like Jenkins or similar.

Desirable Skills:

• A knowledge of front-end technologies would be an advantage: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure)

Educational Requirements:

• Relevant 3rd Level Degree in Computer Science or relevant course
