Job Description

My Dublin based client is looking for a Java Developer to join the team on a contract basis.

JAVA Developer

Our client, a large progressive organisation is looking for a JAVA Developer to join a dynamic team.

To be successful in this role you will have minimum 5 years’ experience as a Java Developer with solid experience in an agile development environment.

  • Solid and proven JEE development experience, in the following technologies:
    • Spring Framework
      • Core Spring
      • Spring MVC – Plain MVC, not webflow or faces
      • Spring AOP
      • Spring DAO/ORM
    • Junit Test Development
    • Current JEE Development Patterns
  • Strong preference for experience in the following technologies:
    • Oracle Database
    • Messaging ie JMS
    • Java Server Pages (JSP)
    • Javascript
    • IBatis Persistence Framework
    • Maven 2
    • DWR and JQuery Ajax Frameworks + JavaScript
    • Basic UNIX skills
  • Strong object oriented design skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision and interact effectively with team members
  • Needs to be a strong team player.
