Java Architect

Our Dublin City based financial services client is seeking a  Java Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex Java-based solutions and ensuring that they meet the requirements of our clients. Experience Required:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in a Java development role and previous experience in a similar position.
• Previous Experience utilising tools such as Java technologies, including Spring, Hibernate, Junit and Maven
• Strong application process flow and problem-solving techniques
• Knowledge of Containerisation tools such as Kubernetes/Docker
• Strong understanding of the SDLC including CI/CD as well as security and compliance protocols
• Excellent communication skills and Problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience working closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Prior experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, and design documents.

Desirable Skills

• Strong application process flow and problem-solving techniques
• Experience of working in an Agile and Waterfall environments
• Experience with solution architecture frameworks such as TOGAF

Educational Requirements:

• 3rd level Degree in Computer Science/IT or relevant course
