J2EE Developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and implement highly technical solutions to assist in solving business problems.
• Provide support throughout the development process from requirement gathering and designing to debugging and maintenance.
• Work across technical and non-technical teams to achieve high quality service delivery.
• Apply your expertise to recommend best practices in accordance with industry standard.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Java / J2EE development role.
• Excellent working knowledge of a number of full stack technologies such as: Spring, Hibernate, SQL, Oracle, REST, HTML, and JavaScript.
•  Good knowledge with Cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
• Flexible and focused
• Experience using MVC frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Essential and Desirable Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the design & build phase of the project lifecycle.
• Proven capability to learn new useful skills and technologies
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Enthusiastic in solving difficult technical and business issues.
• Aware of maven and continuous integration tools such as Hudson
• Full software development life cycle

Educational Requirements:

• Third level degree in Computer Science or in a similar area
