IT Vendor Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving vendor services excellence and the delivery of services
• Play a major role in ensuring that the IT frameworks are constantly monitored and enhanced where possible
• You will apply a consistent and transparent Vendor Management Framework for all vendors and suppliers
• Harness the relationships with each vendor to gain clear value for the business while reducing the risk creating opportunity
• Working closely with all vendors and stakeholders to establish a clear approach for delivery
• Ultimately, be in control of building the following into the vendor management engagements:
  • Risk management
  • Performance management with KPIs
  • Contract negotiation and renewals
  • SLA’s and pricing
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Potential opportunities for improvement
  • Roadmap Reviews and Planning
  • Issue resolution

• Deliver a framework in Jira/Confluence to monitor the relationships and KPI’s
• The Vendor Manager will support the company in order to build a strategy for long term improvement and direction
• Work closely with management to build a clear strategy

Experience Required

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong skills with Business reporting tools
• Jira and Confluence.
• Managing 3rd party IT vendors
• Vendor Lifecycle Management
• IT systems & operations knowledge
• 3rd party vendor management expertise
• Service Delivery management
• IT policy management & governance or IT audits
• Incident & problem management
• Excellent negotiation, communication & influencing skills
• ITIL experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding the IT landscape of the enterprise and role of vendors within it.

Educational Requirements

• Relevant 3rd level qualification in IT systems, Business Process
