My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Technical Trainer to join the team. This role will be on a hybrid model.

My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Technical Trainer to join the team. This role will be on a hybrid model. The Technical Trainer role will involve doing software support for IBM products and looking after 3rd party maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

  • You will create, deliver & continual mentoring for the operational & technical teams on the services and procedures.
  • You will be responsible for content development/updates as & when major releases of services arise
  • You will design training strategies for the technical teams, both hard & soft-skills, across all the functions within technology
  • You will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop & produce achievement badges & certification programs
  • You will be part of the creative development cycle to improve training materials
  • Review measurement tools, metrics & feedback to gauge the effectiveness of training
  • You will develop KPI’s & produce standard & ad-hoc training reports when needed
  • Identify trends & areas of development opportunity to drive continuous improvement
  • You will deliver/facilitate courses & programmes using suitable approaches such as eLearning, virtual/online training, webinars, or classroom-based sessions,

Experience Required

  • A min of  5 years of technical training experience and preferably with IBM software products.
  • ITIL and/or other service frameworks would be a nice to have
  • Highly productive with the ability & resilience to work in an ambiguous, dynamic environment
  • Goal & achievement oriented with a strong drive for high-performance & success
  • Creative, highly organised, & great attention to detail
  • Self-starter able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Experience of LMS & e-learning platforms
  • Proven experience in developing learning programs & solutions to match business needs
  • Passionate about unlocking people’s full potential
  • Previous experience working with internationally distributed teams (USA & Europe)

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • A min of  5 years of technical training experience and preferably with IBM software products.
