IT System Analyst

My Dublin City Centre based client is currently recruiting for a IT System Analyst / Developer. This is a perm role with be a hybrid model. The Systems Analyst / Developer will work with the IT team and will be responsible for troubleshooting & fixing defects on the client’s existing applications and will develop the enhancements to existing applications & managing priority support tickets, performing applications and will support and help manage the service desk.

• Troubleshooting and Debugging incidents and implementing a fix
• Resolving priority incidents within SLA

Service Desk Management

• Managing servicing requests within SLA
• Managing adhoc application related queries
• Performing daily application health checks

Experience Required

•  A min of 3 years relevant experience
• Advanced SQL Knowledge
• GIT, Subversion, other source control systems
• Jenkins
• C#, VB.Net, Net Core, Winforms
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented software design concepts & implementation
• Good Database skills including knowledge of relational database and strong SQL scripting abilities
• Proficient skills in HTML and CSS
• Good exposure to web standards, cross-browser compatibility
• Building in accessibility from the ground up.
• Good understanding of information management, data modelling, system integration, development methodologies (including unit testing) & web technologies.
• Exposure with Visual Studio .NET environment

Essential and Desirable Skills

• People Management
• Ability to manage competing priorities
• Previous experience working on an application support team
• Exposure of Infragistics Component Library (Desirable)

Educational Requirements

• 3rd level IT related qualification.
