IT Support Engineer – Level 1

My Dublin based client is recruiting for an IT Support Engineer (Level 1) to join the team on a perm basis. The successful candidate will work on and get exposure to different technologies, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Server and Desktop OS, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, VMWare, Citrix, Cloud Technologies, the latest Microsoft applications & solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitoring, management, support, & configuration of all IT infrastructure
• Provision of user accounts and equipment
• Remote and Desktop Support for staff throughout Ireland.
• Supporting Windows Desktops, Networks, MS Office, Citrix
• Systems Administration of Microsoft Server, Exchange, Active Directory, O365.
• Maintain and build IT documentation.
• Imaging & Deployment
• Hardware troubleshooting
• Interacting with and managing 3^rd parties
• Application troubleshooting and support
• Managing File Permissions & Access Rights
• Configuration & Support of Mobile Devices
• Familiarity with Print services.

Experience Required

• 1+ years working in a technical support environment (required)
• Application Support – 1^st Level
• Windows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, MS Office – Level 1 support
• Citrix – Level 1 support
• Office 365 and Windows Desktop OS – Level 1 support
• Service Desk & Call Handling

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Travel to branch offices & transport of IT equipment (full clean driving license essential)

Educational Requirements

• Third level IT qualification (required)
