Our Dublin based client is looking for a 2nd level IT support engineer to provide daily support to the internal departments.

Our Dublin based client is looking for a 2nd level IT support engineer to provide daily support to the internal departments.

Candidate requirements:

  • Third level degree from a recognised institution or relevant certification
  • Prior experience maintaining small devices and meeting room equipment
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting ability
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of online platforms such as Zoom, IOS, and MS Teams
  • Experience working with Windows 10 technology and MS Office Suite
  • Prior knowledge of networking constructs and configurations
  • Working knowledge of Poly room technology and systems

 

Candidate responsibilities:

  • Efficient management and resolution of all tickets
  • Ability to manage and maintain small devices such as smartphones, laptops, tablets
  • Maintain all meeting room equipment to ensure functionality and efficiency
  • Offer support to IT department
  • Ensure issues are logged and managed correctly and escalated where necessary
  • Communicate effectively with team lead regarding issues that occur
  • Maintenance of the employee active directory
