My Dublin West based client is recruiting for an IT Support Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. This role will be onsite.
My Dublin West based client is recruiting for an IT Support Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. This role will be onsite. The candidate should have a min of 2 years experience and be good at troubleshooting skills.
Job Responsibilities
- You will serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance & provide a high level of employees seeking problem resolution.
- You will support & maintenance Microsoft servers & desktop environment including software & hardware (PCs, printers, mobile devices,, applications and operating systems (Windows 10).
- You will support all Office 365 accounts, (including Outlook, SharePoint, Azure) etc.
- You will support local telecommunication & conferencing systems (telephones, video-conferencing, MS Teams).
- Provide staff training on various business technology systems (Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Win10, etc.)
- You will assist with administration of data backup management system
- Assisting in IT projects to enhance business support
- Develop project documentation
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in an IT Support and/or IT Administration role
- Strong hands on experience of Windows 2008/2012 Server, Active Directory & Exchange 2008/2010
- 1 + years SAP B1 experience (supporting & troubleshooting)
- Comprehension the importance of IT & security best practices .
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.
- Ability to develop clear, concise documentation.
- Experience in inventory & asset management of IT equipment as well as managing the IT life cycle.
Essential and Desirable Skills
- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in an IT Support and/or IT Administration role
- Strong hands on experience of Windows 2008/2012 Server, Active Directory & Exchange 2008/2010
- 1 + years SAP B1 experience (supporting & troubleshooting)
Educational Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in information technology or related field
