Job Description

I am currently looking for an IT Service Delivery Manager to join a great client in Dublin West on a permanent basis. This is a senior position and the client offers a great package.

Core Requirements Required:

  • SLA Creation and Template Design
  • Process Improvement Skills
  • People Management skills
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills up to COO/ CEO levels
  • Have worked in a fast-past environment / FMCG/ Retail/ IT Sector preferably
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3rd level qualification preferably in, IT/IS, commerce/business or engineering.
  • At least 10 years proven experience with an IT service delivery and customer facing role, preferably in a shared services or matrix model.
  • Have experience at a senior level in operational and general management roles with considerable hands-on experience of process, systems and data management and process improvement methodologies
  • ITIL certified – preferably at ITIL practitioner level at a minimum

Experience Required:

  • Good interpersonal skills with experience of interacting with senior executive team members in a Group environment
  • Excellent organisational and written skills and the ability to develop policies and procedures to define IT standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a complex environment and to tight timelines;
  • Very strong customer service skills, understanding the importance of systems, process and structures in enabling efficient delivery of an effective organisation;
  • Highly organised and disciplined, driven to deliver the required results;
  • Hands-on approach to issue resolution;
  • Strong judgement to work largely autonomously;
  • A team player with the ability to communicate across functional departments and divisions;
  • Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware and systems and must be able to work independently or as a team member within the organisation;
  • Project management, process design and financial budget management experience.
  • Experience in managing an ITIL-based support model
  • Experience in implementing new Service Design models (preferred)
  • Experienced in managing third party service teams
  • Experienced in working closely with project teams for service design, service transition and service acceptance phases.
