IT Security Engineer

My Dublin based client is looking for a IT Security Engineer to join their team.

Job Responsibilities

• Leads the process around incident and problem management efficiently and effectively;
• Management of security technologies and services especially WAF, IPS, F5;
• Responsible for the lifecycle of technology deployments;
• Develop and promote security policies, standards and awareness;
• Oversees capacity planning and management and recommends options for addressing capacity issues in order to meet business requirements and service level targets;
• Acts as a role model in executing governance and compliance policies and procedures and participates in audit reviews of same; and
• Actively coaches more junior staff and makes recommendations to improve performance and service.

Experience Required

• 7+ years’ required working in IT
• IT degree or equivalent
• CISA /CISM or equivalent is desirable

Essential and Desirable Skills

• IT Technical skills;
• expert in IT infrastructure and security technologies
• Database administration or networking skills
