My client based close by to Westmeath direction is currently recruiting for a SAP IT Applications Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This role will be working off a hybrid model.

My client based close by to Westmeath direction is currently recruiting for a SAP IT Applications Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This role will be working off a hybrid model. The SAP IT Applications Manager primarily responsible to lead a team in the provision of Level 1 & 2 support to a SAP Hana environment. This includes responsibility for the availability, maintenance & optimization of business applications and conversion of business requirements into functional and technical solutions. The role will work both collaboratively and independently by using subject matter expertise and capabilities to manage processes and projects from start to finish.

Job Responsibilities

  • You will manage SAP & other legacy IT Applications in the Region
  • You will manage a small team of Application support staff
  • You will deliver standard platforms, analytics and reporting
  • You will work closely with dedicated business project team to deliver new ERP System (SAP S4 Hana)
  • Management of support calls and liaise with support vendors
  • Occasional Travel required

Experience Required

  • Min third level IT Qualification
  • Solid ERP support across many departments
  • Minimum 5 years broad SAP functional experience MM, WM/EWM, FICO, CS, FICO, SD
  • Preferably S4 Hana (but ECC expert level considered)
  • Experience with SAP MII or similar Manufacturing Execution System
  • Experience in reporting and utilising Data Analytics
  • Data Migration experience an advantage

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Minimum 5 years broad SAP functional experience MM, WM/EWM, FICO, CS, FICO, SD
  • Analytical Thinking, Problem Solving and Leadership qualities
  • Demonstrated multi-site project experience
  • Best practice documentation
  • Must be an excellent communicator with proven excellent customer service
  • Multi tasking multiple projects in addition to supporting the day-to-day business needs
  • Manufacturing background preferably in a validated environment
