Responsibilities of the IT Risk Analyst

• Supporting oversight of the effectiveness of systems and controls in place relating to IT, Information Security, Property and Group Change risk management
• Supporting development, and monitoring the implementation, of all relevant Frameworks and Policies in relation to IT, Information Security, Property and Group Change risk management
• Supporting the revision and updating of relevant risk management Frameworks, Policies, Systems, Processes and Tools
• Providing advice and guidance relating to risk management practices, standards and procedures for the effective management of IT, Information Security, Property and Group Change risks

Skills of the IT Risk Analyst

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience in a related field or functional area
• Knowledge of applicable risk management and control guidelines or requirements in relation to IT, Information Security and Property risks desirable
• Relevant professional certifications desirable, e.g. PRMIA
• Proficient in Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook and appropriate Risk Management software packages
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal and an ability to work effectively with First Line colleagues in the management and delivery of risk and control assessments
• Good analytical skills, relevant for the preparation of relevant risk reports
• Solid critical thinking skills: creative, strategic and practical ability to focus on the most vital areas, problem-solving skills and strong business and relationship judgement
