Job Description
My Dublin-based Financial Services client is actively recruiting an IT Resourcing and Reporting Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility is to support the CTOO and IT Senior Managers from a resource management and IT Department reporting perspective
- Working with the IT teams to ensure that resources are managed efficiently and effectively, and that departmental reporting is managed and tracked.
- Taking full ownership of IT cross functional staff engagement initiatives, including staff training planning, and assisting hiring managers in the recruitment process.
- Provide high-level administrative support to the CTOO by managing the staff and reporting agendas in partnership with the IT Senior Management Team, including report preparation, handling information requests, assessing project resource requests and/or any other ad-hoc CTOO requests.
- Update the annual IT training strategy and work with Senior Management in identifying and managing the training requirements for the IT and Operations department.
- Manage and advise on requests for resource management requests to ensure effective decisions around projects and work schedules.
- Set up, support and run staff communication and engagement activities (for example virtual and in person staff updates, quarterly and annual planning sessions) and take ownership of running the IT Social events and activities.
- Support the PPMO to identify and investigate variance from schedules that have an impact on budget and/or performance to ensure tight control and efficient use of resources.
- Support the Senior IT Management Team in the reviewing and updating of internal IT policies.
- Support Senior Management to maintain the IT Resource Plan and report on starters and leavers, including recruitment activity metrics.
- Manage and oversee the administration of IT staff overtime.
- Support Senior Management in identifying resource requirements and redeploying skillsets, and managing the vacancy process as required.
- Actively engage with IT and Operations Senior Management to drive the staff objective setting process and performance rating process.
Experience Required
- Experience working with an executive/senior management team in a busy project oriented environment
- Experience in developing relationships in a highly-matrixed organisation
- Understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies would be helpful
- Experience of planning and managing staff recruitment, training, and annual rating processes
- Experience of general insurance, life assurance or financial services environments would be advantageous
- Setting up, supporting and running staff engagement activities (Staff updates, Planning Sessions, social events etc)

Educational Requirements
- Third Level Qualification in Business/Computer Science/IT or equivalent subject area
- MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
