IT Project Manager – payments

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing on the key criteria such as scope, budget, schedule and quality.
• Engage and be hands on in the implementation of Agile processes
• Evaluate proposed projects and determine the correct amount resources that would be requried
• Manage the project lifecycle
• Ensure the project deliverables are in line with the agreed project targets and KPI’s
• Work closely with the Portfolio Manager to put in place successful plans
• Management of internal and external communication and be capable of liaising with all stakeholders during the projects
• Manage delivery in line with industry standards and best practices
• Responsible for ensuring that deliverables are lined up with the agreed timelines and priorities

Experience Required

• 3rd level qualification with good technical focus
• Proven experience as a Project Manager / Delivery Manager
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience working with Agile teams and methods
• Be an effective team manager who can build and motivate teams

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Understanding of agile project delivery methodology
• Background in technical delivery
• Good knowledge of IT and digital systems
• Payment card industry compliance
• Payment Service Directive compliance
• Financial governance experience
