IT Project Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Manage projects related to networking infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud environments.
• Oversee the full project life cycle, from initiation to deployment, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Align projects with strategic objectives and manage interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
• Prepare estimates, develop detailed project plans, and procure necessary resources.
• Manage day-to-day project activities, chair project management team meetings, and provide regular status reporting.
• Control project scope, manage changes, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Resolve issues and define specifications for goods and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices, policies, tools, and partnerships for project management.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in networking infrastructure.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of project management principles, methods, and techniques.
• Continually assess and mitigate project risks and participate in issue resolution.
• Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of project management capabilities within the organisation.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Modern Workplace
• Strong background in networking infrastructure, both on-premises and cloud-based.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and drive projects to successful completion.
• Detail-oriented mindset, with meticulous attention to project details and impact.
• Familiarity with working on complex networking infrastructure projects.
• Relevant IT qualification.
