Job Description
Our Dublin based client are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join their growing team. Exciting opportunity with a well known Irish brand
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the full project lifecycle to include strategic projects, business as usual tasks, emergency planning and working to deadlines.
- Evaluate proposed projects and determine the correct amount resources required that would be requried
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, including meetings, budgets and deadlines
- Work closely with the UX and Digital Marketing team members
- As the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for line management of the engineering team, and will also be required to determine additional staffing requirements based on projects and growth
- Sign-off of delivery into production
- Ensure quality assurance through a Test Driven an focused Development process
- Use reporting and visualisation tools to share delivery dates, updates and overall progress across the team and company
- Objectively measure and report project success using metrics and analytical tool
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, or a similar role, for a software engineering team
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Project Management, reporting and visualisation tools
- Experience with Test Driven Development and A/B testing
Essential and Desirable Skills
- Understanding of hybrid agile-waterfall project delivery methodology
- Knowledge of software development practices is important
- Certified PMP (PMI) is preferred
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline
