IT Project Manager

Experience Required

• Minimum of 7 years of project management experience
• Proven track record in managing large and complex IT delivery/migration projects
• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
• Experience with Cloud-based SaaS migration projects (preferred)
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies for project management and IT delivery
• Proficiency in project management functions and artifacts
• Ability to manage third-party vendor projects effectively
• Quick adaptation to existing project management and governance standards
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly asset management (preferred)
• Project Management certification (Prince or PMP, preferred)

Job Responsibilities

• Lead project assessment, planning, and implementation
• Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and meet quality expectations
• Manage stakeholders, including third-party vendors
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Proactively handle project prerequisites, dependencies, constraints, issues, risks, and critical path
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Coordinate, manage, and control project resources and tasks
• Facilitate effective communication at all levels, with strong verbal and written skills
• Develop and maintain project plans
• Manage project budget, including monitoring, control, and reporting
• Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders and governance bodies
• Provide guidance and support to the project team
• Ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct project closure and review benefits realization
• Ensure compliance with project management and governance standards, maintaining accurate project documentation.

Essential and Desirable Skills

• SAAS Migration experience
• Financial services experience

Educational Requirements

• A degree from a recognised educational institution
• PMP or Prince certification
