IT Programme Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Delivering the programmes against the timelines and roadmaps in line with budgets and high quality delivery
• Help to develop and grow the existing portfolio teams to match the requirements and demands
• Define, track and report for the projects status and updates
• Define and manage Infrastructure projects and portfolios
• Capture and drive closure of portfolio risks / issues / actions / decisions.
• Driving all status reporting across all key programmes, and communicating status all relevant stakeholders
• Be able to lead the business engagement and management of communications with a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Be capable of identifying gaps in the programmes and initiate the right course of action to keep on trcak
• Apply and adhere to correct PMO processes, policies and standards

Experience Required

• A proven career track record being a strong change agent with high level project and program management experience
• 6-8 yrs+ experience in the leadership of integration and transformation programs
• Successfully led a number of infrastructure and  IT enterprise programs or projects, that have big budgets and large programs.
• Experience in the application of project methodologies, mainly focused on waterfall method
• Experience in various tools for management, project planning, and time tracking

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure
• Comfortable working with a variety of management tools
• Experience managing multiple projects at a given time
• Excellent judgment and strong decision-making skills are essential for this position
• Strong leadership, collaboration and motivational skills. Must be able to manage and motivate a team
• Strong internal and external influencing skills are very important
• Strong communication skills are a must
• Must be a team player who likes working in a collaborative environment
