Job Description

Our international client is seeking to recruit an experienced IT/ Infrastructure Manager to join and lead their team of talented engineers to plan and manage the network and infrastructure department.

This ideal candidate will have skills not just technical but also have project management and strong vendor and people skills. The role will report into the Head of IT.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with the senior IT leadership team to help determine the best strategies and implementation plans
  • Work alongside the vendor for delivery of critical IT Cloud and ensure they are kept up to date throughout the process
  • Lead the Senior technical architect team with responsibility for design, support and implementation of Active Directory
  • Engage with the change process to assist and advise on coordination and execution of changes for production systems and applications
  • Maintain, grow and continuously integrate services, applications and platforms into overall company infrastructure. Provide Technical Leadership for all Infrastructure Projects and Tasks
  • Ensures all Server and Cloud Services are consistently looked after

Experience Required

  • At least 10 years proven experience with an IT Infrastructure role
  • Have at least 5 years at a senior level in IT operational and general management
  • Ideally the candidate will be someone that has been through a cloud transformation and has the background/experience to hold their own when dealing with high end technical guys
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong vendor/stakeholder experience

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • ITIL certified – preferably at ITIL practitioner level

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a recognised institute

From the initial discussion about my role through, the vetting, onboarding and right through to the invoicing and payment process the experience with Eolas has been first rate. Luke helped me highlight the items on the CV that the client was looking for and Stephen gave me solid advice about how to invoice in Euros from a UK company. Stephen advised me to open a euro account. Advice which I initially ignored...at my cost...the Royal Bank of Scotland creamed 4.6% of my first invoice!
