IT Manager – ERP Background

Overview

My client based in Co Offaly is currently recruiting for a IT Manager to join the existing team. This role is on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient running of the day to day IT operations
• Management of IT team and allocating resources across 5 sites
• Ensure appropriate service level, KPI’s and controls are in place and are delivered in a process driven fashion
• Support key stakeholders, business units and sites in IT related activities in a cost effective manner
• Translate business requirements into delivered IT solutions efficiently and cost effectively
• Manage various IT projects throughout the business
• Manage 3rd party vendors and suppliers
• Manage the training and development plans for all members of function
• Implement IT policies, procedures and best practise for regulatory purposes and data protection
• Business continuity in a busy high production environment

Skills Required

• IT Project management across concurrent projects
• Vendor management
• Knowledge of cloud applications and infrastructure
• IT transformation and organisational change projects especially in terms of ERP, with SAP experience an advantage
• Strong knowledge in the areas of security, backup, DR and data protection policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and be able to work in virtual teams
