IT Manager

Overview

My client based in near Citywest/ Naas rd is currently recruiting for a IT Manager to join the company/ large corporate Group. This role is on a permanent basis and the client has had an out sourced IT model for many years and they have decided to revert back to an in house model. They are looking for an experienced IT Manager who has a solid project management background to help with projects and help grow the in house IT team for the future.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient running of the day to day IT operations
• Help build and manage of IT team
• Ensure appropriate service level, KPI’s and controls are in place and are delivered in a process driven fashion
• Support key stakeholders, business units and sites in IT related activities in a cost effective manner
• Help to manage various IT projects throughout the business (Some PM qualification nice to have)
• Manage all IT 3rd party vendors and suppliers
• Manage the training and development plans for all members of function
• Implement IT policies, procedures and best practise for regulatory purposes and data protection
• Business continuity in a busy high production environment

Skills Required 

• Must have a minimum 5-7 years in a manager role
• Hold a degree or equivalent skills and qualifications.
• IT Project management across concurrent projects
• Vendor management
• Knowledge of Digital strategy and core IT infrastructure
• IT transformation and organisational change projects especially in terms of ERP and Epos and business applications.
• Strong knowledge in the areas of security, backup, DR and data protection policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and report directly into the group CEO.
