Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the IT operations and infrastructure team.
- Plan, design, and implement IT systems, networks, servers, and infrastructure to meet the organization’s current and future needs.
- Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems and services, and implement measures to proactively address potential issues.
- Lead system upgrades, migrations, and deployments while minimizing disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technology requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and security standards to safeguard data, systems, and networks.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement of IT equipment and services.
- Oversee the management of IT support services, ensuring timely and effective resolution of user issues.
- Monitor and analyze IT performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT infrastructure management.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Create and manage the IT budget, making cost-effective decisions to optimize technology investments.
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in similar infrastructure role with management experience
- Track record of successful system implementations and maintenance.
- Strong technical knowledge of networks, servers, operating systems, storage systems, and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices to ensure data protection and network security.
- Experience with IT project management, from planning to execution and monitoring.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a technical team effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing IT challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Experience with IT compliance standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001) is desirable.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, MCSE, or AWS/Azure certifications are a plus.
