IT Infrastructure Engineer

My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Engineer for a client of mine in Dublin City Centre. This role will be hybrid model. The candidate should have a min of 3 years experience managing IT Infrastructure System Administration. This role will be reporting into the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will take ownership for providing the day to day support & administration of the IT Infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

• Solid experience delivering ITIL based Infrastructure Services, taking ownership & resolution of Infrastructure incidents, problems, & service requests.
• Extensive experience with end-user computing support & maintenance as needed.
• Proven experience maintaining a secure & resilient IT infrastructure estate
• Server builds, virtualization, migrations, & support as required
• Assist with planning & execution of all IT infrastructure changes
• Strong infrastructure administration skills e.g. virtualisation, Window Server, Active Directory Group Policy, Office 365 administration portals, email management, storage management.
• You will provide Management Information Reporting & maintain technology documentation to a high standard

Experience Required

• Strong infrastructure administration skills e.g. virtualisation, Window Server, Active Directory Group Policy, Office 365 administration portals, email management, storage management.
• Hands on experience with VMware, Veeam, Email and Exchange, Office365, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, WSUS/SCCM
• Strong network experience g. TCP/IP, VLAN, LAN, WIFI, DHCP, DNS, NAC, FC & iSCSI, NSX-T
• Strong hardware experience – Server, SAN, Network Switches and Access Points

Essential and Desirable Skills

• A min of 3 years experience managing IT Infrastructure System Administration
• Experience in Aruba networks, ClearPass, SSL cert admin, firewall management – Nice to have
