Job Description

My Dublin based client is looking for an IT Helpdesk Support professional to join their team. 

Responsibilities

Reporting to IT Helpdesk Team Leader responsibilities included, but not limited to:

  • Troubleshoot, analyse, resolve, track, escalate and accurately document various technical problems of simple to moderate complexity.
  • Assist and support users in usage of specific applications.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot basic software and hardware problems.
  • Provide input to and update knowledge base as necessary.
  • Alert management and team members when a major problem is suspected.

Essential and Desirable Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant third level IT qualification.

Qualifications, experience and characteristics required include

  • Minimum of 2 -3 years’ relevant experience
  • Excellent of Microsoft systems and Microsoft certification would be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ideally obtained in a client facing role in an IT capacity.
