Job Description

Our Financial Services Client is looking for an IT Helpdesk - Level 1 Support Engineer. Leading Corporate client with 3,000 users in Dublin.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st line production support for all applications, Hardware and infrastructure i.e. internally developed solutions or external systems.
  • Raise any 2nd line support issues with the software providers, Level two support or Vendor.
  • Keep track of all calls logged on the Helpdesk and escalate when required
  • Gather, document and obtain sign-off on requirements for small initiatives i.e. Management Information reports, customer documentation or service requests
  • Work closely with the business teams on the diagnosis of system issues
  • Patch management
  • Take part in Maintenance tasks carried out by IT
  • Relocation management of staff

Experience Required

  • Helpdesk support experience
  • Knowledge of business or system analysis
  • At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in Financial Services
