Job Description

My south Dublin south side based client who is based 20minute walk from Dundrum Shopping Centre is currently looking for a level 1 Helpdesk Support Engineer.

In this role you will be providing 1st level support to all their external Customers for a successful SME IT firm.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure customers technical issues are dealt with professional and in a timely manner.
  • You will provide day to day IT support to my client
  • Ensure that all phone and ticketing requests are monitored and dealt with.
  • Escalate issues if needed to third parties.

Experience Required

  • 1-3 years in a similar IT support role
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Strong knowledge of ticket based software and support systems
  • Experience with;
    • Windows Servers
    • Office 365 or exchange
    • General networking knowledge
    • HyperV / VMware nice to have
    • Excellent IT customer support experience
    • You must speak fluent English

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Any understanding of networks and IP would be a plus

Educational Requirements

  • Third level degree in Computer Science ore relevant experience
