Job Description

My Kildare based client is looking for an IT Support Technician to join its team on a 4 month contract ASAP

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide quality technical support to the end users within the client’s organisation
  • Ensure best practice is followed as it relates to IT security
  • Support the client’s LAN & WAN
  • Work well as a team and an individual supporting over 180 users
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm for a 4 month contract basis, with the possibility of extending this to 6 months

 

Skills/Experience

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a computer technician or similar
  • IT Degree qualified or equivalent
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong experience in the following areas:
    • MS Exchange
    • LAN/WAN networks
    • Firewalls
    • Virtual environments
    • Windows 7
    • Varied business applications
