Job Description

Financial Services client requires a IT Helpdesk Administrator for a permanent role with good Active Directory Skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support to a wide range of applications, systems and infrastructure within the company.
  • User Support, Applications & Helpdesk
  • Provide 1st line production support for business applications
  • Analysing problems, including root cause analysis
  • Communication with other system support teams
  • Defining possible solutions/rectification
  • Liaising and troubleshooting issues with 2nd and 3rd line administrators
  • Effective and timely communication with all involved parties

Experience Required

  • Use/management of an ITIL based helpdesk
  • Good Active Directory Skills with GPO experience an advantage
  • Extensive experience supporting Windows 7 & 10 desktops
  • Experience supporting Office365 with strong MS Outlook skills
  • Effective and timely communication with all involved parties
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding ability to triage time-sensitive tasks, accomplishing work according to time frames set.
  • Strong customer service, work ethic and troubleshooting ability, with the ability to prioritise tasks and coordinating workload with other members of the team along with the ability to work on multiple efforts concurrently

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Patch Management: Manage Engine – Desktop Central
  • Dell Kace knowledge
  • IP Phone system exposure

Educational Requirements

  • Computer science degree or equivalent
