My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for an IT Systems Developer. This role will be a remote work initially with a hybrid model.

My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for an IT Systems Developer. This role will be a remote work initially with a hybrid model. The Systems Developer will be work as part of the IT Team and will be responsible for troubleshooting & fixing defects on the existing application, developing enhancements to the existing applications. managing priority support tickets, and managing the service desk.

Job Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and Debugging incidents and implementing a fix
  • Resolving priority incidents within SLA
  • Reporting
  • Design
  • Development
  • Support
  • You will managing servicing requests within SLA
  • You will managing adhoc application related queries
  • Performing daily application health checks
  • Technical documents are clear, concise & accurate
  • Ownership of Development tasks and delivery to a high standard
  • Successful implementation of all changes under the remit of the Developer.
  • Prompt identification of important system issues
  • Urgent issues prioritized and escalated to correct person
  • Prompt delivery of solution.
  • First time resolution of defects.
  • Quality of development resulting in minimal defects.

Experience Required

  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Advanced SQL Knowledge
  • GIT, Subversion, other source control systems
  • Jenkins
  • C#, VB.Net, Net Core, Winforms
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented software design concepts and their implementation
  • Database skills including knowledge of relational database schema design and strong SQL scripting abilities
  • Proficient skills in HTML and CSS
  • Exposure to web standards, cross-browser compatibility and building in accessibility from the ground up.
  • Solid understanding of information management, data modelling, system integration, development methodologies (including unit testing) and web technologies.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio .NET environment
  • Familiarity of Infragistics Component Library (Nice to have)

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Advanced SQL Knowledge
  • C#, VB.Net, Net Core, Winforms

Educational Requirements

3rd level IT related qualification.
