Job Description

I am looking for an IT Compliance Manager to join a great client in Dublin South. The successful candidate will fully understand, document and execute an effective control environment for my client.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage policy implementation including processes and procedures
  • Make sure that all employees understand company’s risk management policies and use them properly in different situations
  • Assist the business line in the implementation of the company’s risk management policies
  • Ensure that all staff participate in discussions regarding identification of business risks and appropriate responses to them. The IT Compliance Manager will ensure that all staff understand key risk concepts and how they are relevant to the company.
  • Design, manage, and document controls to mitigate business risks and assist the business in testing their effectiveness.
  • Be a key advisor for the company on risk and related matters and serve as a liaison between staff and high-level managers on all risk-related matters.
  • Ensure appropriate level of management ownership exists to facilitate appropriate due diligence and participation in compliance, audit, and risk management requirements.
  • Support audits and regulatory examination cycle for division. Monitors the disposition/resolution of issues resulting from audits and examinations.
  • Actively ensure compliance with the financial Code of Ethics and regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.  Serves as member of Corporate Compliance Committee and helps ensure compliance standards are being met within divisions.
  • Actively participate in any required training in these areas and ensures required training is being completed by assigned business line.
  • Direct, motivate, and develop staff to maximize their individual contributions, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with colleagues as a team.
  • Responsible for the planning, development, and control of large, aggregate budgets for multiple projects.

Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level or have equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of experience in risk management
  • 4+ years of experience working in an IT Environment
  • Experience as a Manager or Supervisor
  • Experience/background in Risk Management in the Financial Services industry
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills
  • Ability to learn and communicate key risk management concepts
  • Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong PC skills and computer support system knowledge, MS Office Suite
