Job Description
South Dublin Multinational Company requires an IT Compliance Analyst on a permanent basis responsible for monitoring compliance across Group sites
Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining a risk-based IT Controls Framework, supporting its implementation and monitoring compliance across the client’s sites
- Assist in the ongoing maintenance and modification of the IT Compliance Risk based Framework
- Processing of SMART files for the local sites
- Review and approve alternative controls for the IT Controls Framework
- Bring in new, innovative ideas into the department and play a key role in the realisation and delivery of these initiatives
- Processing of IT-Risk Assessments and Continuous feedback via IT-CSA
- Maintenance of the Data Protection Impact Assessment for the Group
- Site support and review of DPIA as required
- Development of support documentation and best practices for the wider business to support their adherence to the IT Controls
- Review and approve any requests for variance to the IT Controls Framework
- Assist in the investigation of any potential unlawful or fraudulent action related to IT Compliance, such as the intentional release of privileged information or a related security breach
- Identify, alert and manage escalations relation to non-compliances
- Understand the IT Compliance challenges faced by local sites, work with them to resolve their difficulties and identify opportunities for improvement
- Help sites to evaluate their IT risks and prescribe proportionate controls, which are a good fit to local IT operations
Experience Required
- 2+ years’ experience working with in IT Compliance, preferably with large enterprise organisations
- A good knowledge and experience in data analysis
- Excellent communications skills both written and oral
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet critical deadlines while prioritizing and coordinating work
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities
Essential and Desirable Skills
- Good knowledge of COBIT, SOX ISO or similar control frameworks
- Working knowledge of SQL an advantage
Educational Requirements
- CISA, CISSP or CISM qualification or similar desirable
- A bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience
