IT Applications Manager

My North Dublin client has a brand-new opportunity for an IT Applications Manager to join their team. Ideal for an IT Lead or Manager who wants to work in a small team environment, where you will also benefit from the structure and stability of a larger business network.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement, and maintain a variety of IT business applications (ERP / CRM systems)
• Assure customer/supplier applications are fully integrated
• Propose recommendations that will automate IT processes and maximise IT efficiency
• Manage relationships with third party vendors for hardware and software solutions
• Collaborate with local and international IT members and business functions
• Become the ‘go-to’ person for all local IT matters
• Mentor and work alongside a small & dedicated team of IT support specialists

Experience Required

• 5-10 years’ experience in IT
• Experience providing technical support for business IT applications
• Previous experience working in a small IT team within an SME would be ideal
• Experience mentoring junior team members
• Knowledge of eCommerce, Distribution, or Retail industry would be a benefit but not essential

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Solid understanding of both software and hardware
• Knowledge of systems such as: CRM, ERP, finance, e-commerce, workforce management
• Excellent IT vendor management skills
• Autonomous and self-driven mindset
• Comfortable working in a small IT team
• Ability to mentor junior team members
• Driving licence to commute to the office may be required

Educational Requirements

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or another related field
