Investment Case Analyst

Role:

-This role is to support the reporting and tracking of investment costs and benefits.

-Focus on the tracking and reporting of investment costs and benefits. A key part of the role is the presentation of information and production of slides for the Group Executive Committee.

Skills:

-Financially literate (Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant)

-Advanced Excel skills are essential– ability to use Excel to analyse and model data.

-Advanced PowerPoint skills, experience in producing slides for executive consumption.

-Self-starter and able to deal with a range of stakeholders and team members.

-Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment with a focus on delivering outcomes

-Excellent communication skills – with the ability to clearly deliver compelling, well-structured arguments, to articulate ideas, concepts and complex financial information

Responsible For:

-Production of PowerPoints presentations for a wide group of senior stakeholders to summaries key messages

-Analysis and interpretation of data including programme estimates / cash flow to identify trends and variancesProducing reports to track financial benefits

-Stakeholder management – engagement with a broad range of stakeholders across the business, finance & the programme

-Ongoing development & maintenance of the excel model supporting the Investment case and benefits tracking.

-Ensure the accuracy and quality of the output from the Investment case model and benefits tracker
