Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)

My client has an exciting opportunity for an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join their busy team. Ideal candidate will be an Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on experience working in an Azure environment.

This is a great local opportunity for anyone living in the North Leinster region (Louth, Meath, Cavan). This role offers a hybrid working model so you must be comfortable commuting within these regions.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure within an Azure environment
• Ensure cloud-based systems are highly available, backed up, and fit for purpose
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and document solutions
• Carry out software upgrades, hot fixes, and service pack installations
• Contribute to data integrity, capacity planning, incident management, and disaster recovery plans
• Propose recommendations to enhance system performance and IT processes

Experience Required

• 3+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure and technical support roles
• Hands-on experience working in an Azure environment is essential
• Experience across operating systems, networks, servers, & virtualisation
• Understanding of cloud and security concepts
• Proven track record of successfully working in a fast-paced environment
• Driving licence to commute to the office may be required

Educational Requirements

• Third level degree in IT, Computer Science, or another related field
