Information Security Manager

Job Responsibilities

The IT Security Manager is responsible to define and ensure implementation of all IT security policies and standards across the IT team and wider business

• Establish IT security and governance framework and controls
• Define security policies and procedures and embed into IT and business teams
• Established and embeds IT risk management
• Identify leading edge, fit for purpose security solutions and ensure implementation
• Manage security incidents, respond to incidents and manage any resultant actions
• Monitors, audits and reports security issues and risks within IT team, 3rd parties and wider business
• Training IT and the business areas of IT security policies and procedures
• Develop and test BCP plan with IT and business teams

Experience Required

• At least 7 years’ experience in leading IT operations and infrastructure teams
• At least 7 years’ experience in cyber security
• Experience in security tools and solutions

Essential & Desirable Skills

• The ability to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Acts as a role model to the team / department and demonstrates the ability to mentor and develop individuals

Educational Requirements

• University degree or diploma in related field or equivalent professional training and experience
• Qualification in relevant frameworks or security standards essential (CISM, CISSP, CISA etc)
