My South Dublin client is looking for a Helpdesk Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company with a fun work culture. You will be working as part of a team on a busy IT helpdesk where you will gain excellent exposure into a variety of modern technologies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1-2 IT helpdesk support across different business functions and regions.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain a range of IT hardware and software solutions across desktops, servers, printers, and networks.
  • Perform basic cabling, networking monitoring, system upgrades, and account maintenance.
  • Respond to tickets in a timely manner and escalate where required.
  • Clearly communicate with users and provide training on basic and complex IT solutions

Experience Required

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an IT helpdesk role
  • Experience using ticketing systems
  • Experience resolving hardware, software, and network issues

Desirable Skills

  • Linux and/or Windows
  • Cisco
  • TCP/IP
  • VPN
  • Network monitoring tools

Educational Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or another related field
  • IT certifications would be desirable but not essential
