My South Dublin based client is recruiting for a Helpdesk Administrator to join the team on a perm basis. This role will be on site.
My South Dublin based client is recruiting for a Helpdesk Administrator to join the team on a perm basis. This role will be on site. The successful candidate will be working with the IT Manager and will implement and maintain the necessary on premises and cloud IT Infrastructure that will enable all the applicable business functions to run effectively. The candidate must have excellent technical abilities and have some levels of experience in IT Helpdesk, Desktop, Networking and Infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities
- You will build & do administration of Windows 10 & Windows Server OS-based environments
- You will help design, create, & provision of Azure cloud infrastructure resources that meet organization & customer needs with monitoring & security
- You will assist the smooth & reliable operation & support of all components of the IT
- You will help maintain a stable, secure, scalable, relevant, & cost-effective IT infrastructure that meets the requirements of the client.
- You will be responsible for the ordering, management, tracking, & disposal of IT assets in line with the policies.
- You will help migrate legacy on-prem IT infrastructure components to the cloud
- You will help design, build, manage, & operate the infrastructure & configuration of SaaS applications with a focus on automation & infrastructure.
- You will help configure security, disaster recovery & data backup
- You will contribute, provide solutions and support to business wide projects
- Adhere to GDPR regulations at all times
- Deliver to agreed targets & KPI’s
Experience Required
- Information security standards and best practices
- Systems monitoring, capacity planning, and performance
- Understanding of alerting and monitoring
- Some experience with automation tools/platforms.
- O365, SharePoint, and Azure platforms would be of advantage
- Understanding of network and security technologies g., firewalls, 2FA, MFA, HTTPS, TLS, DNS, etc. would be of advantage
- Ability to build positive relationships at all levels within the organization
- Ability to work multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to efficiently work to specified project delivery deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills both verbally and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
Essential and Desirable Skills

Educational Requirements
Computer Science or Related Degree
