Head of Risk and Compliance

You will play an important role in providing privacy/data protection and guidance on a variety of data privacy projects. The role will report into the Global Head of Risk. The salary is circa €100-130k per annum plus benefits.

Skills:

• Support completion of Data Protection Impact Assessments within the business and regularly review and refresh policies, procedures and guidelines
• Advise my client on Privacy laws, Regulations and Enforcement, monitoring and reporting on new developments
• Help develop materials and tools that support education, training and awareness.
• Collaboratively with the Security, Legal and Risk departments to help drive implementation across the business
• Build and maintain effective relationships across my client’s business.

Experience:

• 7+ year’s in a similar role working with legal, compliance, risk teams.
• Third level degree – Law, IT, Security, having a Data Protection qualification is a plus.
• Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong track record of dealing with data protection and privacy issues.
• Engaging with external stakeholders on data protection issue
• Having some previous management experience would be a plus.
