Job Description
Our client, a leading company who operate on a global scale are looking for a Head of Project Management to join their team and become part of the leadership group for the business
Job Responsibilities
- Be the leader in developing the Global Project Management Office organization and framework.
- Create an environment of collaboration among regional PMO stakeholders to establish a consistent global approach to project management.
- Implement and manage a Global PMO Reporting system
- Develop and drive forward the implementation of global standards in project management, policies and processes
- Develop, track, and report on project and program performances
- Ensure a consistent and effective approach to all aspects of new or existing projects within a function and framework
- Establish a centre of excellence in project management
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and effectively respond through the project management functions
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the function
- Develop staff through capability development and coaching.
- Communicate effectively and manage key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate leadership skills, exhibiting the behaviours expected of a leader in a senior role.
- Effectively and professionally manage conflicts and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Experience Required
- BSc (or equivalent)
- Degree or higher-level qualification in Project/Program Management (PMP/PRINCE)
- Change Management qualification (desirable)
- Six Sigma/Lean/Agile knowledge (desirable)
- Extensive leadership experience in project management, demonstrating project leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience in creating and building a PMO function
- Previous experience in a global role
- Experience in strategy development and implementation
- Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean/Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
