Graduate Java Developer

Job Responsibilities

• Develop java/j2ee software based on requirement specifications.
• Implement unit tests for software components controlling actuators, sensors and communication devices.
• Develop and maintain scripts for executing unit, integration and system tests.
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of software engineering best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups and contribute to the design of advanced subsystems through software.
• Ownership and accountability for all Quality aspects related to the role in support of patient need and regulatory compliance.

Experience Required

• While no direct work experience is required, previous development experience is a plus.

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Good knowledge of software engineering principles and theory.
• A keen interest in all things technology.
• Not afraid to ask questions from colleagues to learn on the job.
• Drive to take initiative.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Understanding of the software development life-cycle.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
•  Java, JavaScript, Angular.
• SQL.
• Object-oriented theory & concepts.
• 2.1 or higher results desirable in Computer science.

Educational Requirements

• A third level computing qualification.
