Job Description
Great permanent opportunity for a new IT graduate or candidate with some entry level experience. Dublin City Centre based role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and B2B Support of online gaming platforms
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues escalated from Customer Service Desk
- Communication and engage with other in-house teams (Devs/Network/infrastructure/DBAs) to bring issues to a resolution
- Environment management
- Review, create & maintain process documentation
The successful candidate will also gain exposure to:
- Exposure to a wide range of technologies, including:
- Microsoft Technology Stack (SQL Server/Windows Server 2016/IIS/.NET/Azure)
- Exposure to Load balancers
- Windows Clustering
- Web Servers (both MS and Linux based)
- Networking
- Opportunity for exposure to ongoing initiatives in
- Big data analysis technologies for application monitoring
- Platform evolution to Cloud based services and Microservices
- DevOps
- Scope for initiating in-house development and process improvement projects
- Become part of and contribute to an experienced Application Support team with almost 80 years of combined software support experience to call upon.
Experience Required
- Degree in Technology/Software related discipline
- Logical troubleshooting and debugging methodology
- Familiarity with Windows OS
- Familiarity with SQL/XML/Java/C#/HTML/CSS
- Basic understanding of computer networks
- Good communication and personal skills
- Self-motivation is considered a key attribute of the ideal candidate
Essential and Desirable Skills
- Understanding of .NET including Web Services
- Familiar with PowerShell/VBScript/Basic Unix Commands
Educational Requirements
- 3rd level degree in an IT discipline.
