My Dublin West based client is recruiting for a General Ledger Support Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

Overview

My Dublin West based client is recruiting for a General Ledger Support Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

This role is to support our Progress Banking General Ledger that forms part of our full financial services package.  We also provide support to a small number of Sage Line 50 users.

  • Day to day support of General Ledger & Sage
  • Installation & Training of General Ledger remote and on site in Ireland and occasionally the UK
  • From time to time respond to calls in other areas of Financial Package

Experience

  • Knowledge of accounting packages, preferably Sage but not necessary
  • Experience working with General Ledger required as assistance on posting journals, bank reconciliations and balancing make up majority of support queries
  • Accounts qualification is beneficial but not necessary
