Full Stack Developer

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the software development teams and product managers to create solutions for clients
• Design client-side and server-side features for various products
• Build the front-end of applications through innovative and visually appealing designs
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Write APIs that are for purpose and effective
• Be involved in the team that tests software to ensure efficiency and response time is to a high standard
• Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade and maintain software when required
• Build features and applications that incorporate a high speed mobile responsive design

Experience Required

• Ideally look for somebody with between 4-7  years’ experience in a similar role. Frontend / UI / UX Development / Web API

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication is a must. Very collaborative team environment
• Javascript (React)
• Java (Spring)
• API design knowledge and experience
• UI experience and design skills
• Web application development
• Full stack experience a plus. Role is majority front end but having back end skills would help
• CSS (advanced, Sass, less etc)
• Good working knowledge of networking would be an advantage but not essential
• Good working knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL technologies also an advantage

Educational Requirements

• 3rd Level degree in a related subject or relevant work experience in a similar role
