Job Description

Our client, a highly successful medical devices company with operations across the UK&I are currently looking to fill an Accountant position. This is a Permanent role onsite in their brand-new offices

Job Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Monthly management accounts
  • Preparing and providing commercial reports and analyses of performance
  • Maintaining tax reporting (including preparation of workings for returns)
  • Deal with the auditors, professional advisors and tax agents of the group, including leading the annual audit
  • Dealing with technical accounting issues
  • Deferred Revenue Provisions / income recognition
  • Sales Margin reporting
  • Stock Accounting
  • FX Management
  • Working Capital & Debt Scheduling
  • Budgeting
  • Balance Sheet accounting
  • Accruals & Prepayments
  • Maintain a high competency of working within business modelling, Excel and scenario analyses.

Experience Required

  • 5+ years PQE
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with creating financial statements
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills – ERP (SAP, Oracle, Sybiz)

Educational Requirements

Professional qualification with at least 12 months post qualification commercial experience.

  • Chartered Accountants (ACA)
  • Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Management Accountants (CIMA)
